For me, deciding what books to read during the first few weeks of school is a big decision. The first stories I share with my students will help me establish the classroom culture. These books are meant to set the tone for the first day, the first few weeks, and the entire school year. There are so many great books and I want to read ALL OF THEM!
I made a list of some of my favorites that would be great for kicking off a new school year. This list has a little something for everyone from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Hopefully, you will find something to help you get your school year started on the right track. Happy New School Year!
